Black Bitumen Paint
A solvent based, general purpose, bituminous black paint for waterproofing and weather protecting of steelwork, asphalt, wood and concrete. When dry it forms an odourless and taint-free bitumen film. Cromar’s Black Bituminous Paint forms a waterproof, weatherproof, corrosion resistant protective coating. It is resistant to low concentrations of alkalis and acids and can withstand prolonged oxidation. It is suitable for application to a wide variety of surfaces including steel, iron, lead, zinc, aluminium, concrete, stone and brick but is mainly used for the following:- Metal protection for any type of exterior metalwork – fire escapes, ladders, gutters etc. A protective coating for concrete structures, stone, brick, concrete screeds and sand/cement surfaces.

Colour:
Black, shiny coating when dry - dulls with exposure to sunlight.

​Roofing Felt Adhesive
Cromar Roofing Felt Adhesive is a solvent based, cold applied bituminous adhesive for bonding successive
layers of roofing felt. It is formulated for convenience and safety, ensures affinity and a strong final bond to
bituminous membranes.

Use:
Bonding roofing felts to metal, timber, concrete and asphalt.
Lap cement.
Bonding chippings to flat roofs.

Bitumen Primer
A low viscosity, high penetration, cold applied bituminous solution designed to prime and seal porous roof surfaces prior to the application of bituminous materials. Bitumen Primer seals porous substrates and promotes the adhesion of bituminous waterproofing systems and sheet coverings. It may be applied to a range of surfaces:-
· Concrete
· Asbestos cement
· Metals – mild steel, zinc & lead
· Slate, lightweight concrete screeds

Cromarprufe
A rubberised bitumen emulsion. General purpose product used on walls and floors to prevent water ingress
and dampness from the ground. Can also be used as wood block floor adhesive.

Uses:
Cromaprufe will provide a waterproof membrane on concrete and brick foundations, retaining walls and bridge
abutments. It protects concrete structures against attack by sulphates present in soils.
Cromaprufe can be used as a waterproofer for floors and walls.
Cromaprufe is also highly effective as an adhesive for bonding wood block and wood mosaics, expanded
polystyrene and cork tiles and provides a key for plaster on difficult surfaces.

Cromapol
Cromapol is a fibre reinforced liquid acrylic resin dispersed in solvent designed to prevent the ingress of water. Due to the high level of fibres in Cromapol the coating will bridge small gaps and require only a one coat application to give instant waterproofing.

Flash-mate Lead Sealant
A fast skinning roofing sealant that reduces weather ingression, tile lift and noise. Tough, resilient and compatible with lead. Conforms to EN15651-1;F INT.

Application:
Can be used to bond glass and glazing plastics as well as small sections of roofing materials under repair. Ideally suited for sealing roof-lights, conservatives, soffits, glass house, industrial roofing systems, lead flashings and to prevent tile lifting and wind noise. Also has excellent UV, heat and ozone resistance and sets to a tough, resilient rubber seal. Also suitable for use on metals, concrete, mortar and plaster.
Roof-mate Roof and gutter Sealant
A polymerically reinforced lap jointing sealant and adhesive used to prevent leaks in gutters and downpipes. Forms a flexible seal.

Application:
Suitable for repairing and maintaining general roofing, roof drainage systems and crack down pipes, etc. It is ideal for use on metal, construction grade plastics, paint, stone, timber, brick, bitumens and asphalt.
