OSB (Oriented Standard Board)

OSB (Oriented Standard Board) also known as sterling board is designed with flakes of wood specifically organized to give high durability and quality. Bonded together with wax and resin adhesive, the OSB board provides strength and versatility, making it suitable to use for structural and non-structural uses.
Oriented Strand Board uses the same system as plywood: opposing-orientation of wood-fibres creates rigidity, allowing a very stiff panel without great weight. Ideal for roofing, wall sheathing, hoardings and flooring.  There are 2 different types of OSB Board - OSB2 and OSB3.
